Learning to Fly
After moving back to the area during the 2019 pandemic, Molly Crotty got her pilot’s license after spending hours flying over Lake George and the lower Adirondack mountains. Molly Says "I have loved flying over Lake George. I grew up going on the lake but from a normal view (on a boat) to see all of the islands and the Sagamore from a birds-eye view is a surreal feeling." Her Father is a Pilot and Molly says, "My dad actually learned how to fly in Williamstown back in 1983 and then was stationed in the air force at the base up in Plattsburgh back in the '90s, which is ironic because that’s where I took my private pilot check ride so it really was full circle."
