Winter Women

Ongoing Project: During the COVID winter of 2020 I found a way to safely continue making photographs. I had recently moved back to the Adirondacks of upstate NY and with the long winter ahead, I wanted to learn how to get outside and safely interact with others. I found women in the area who partook in outdoor winter sports and shadowed them. The photos below are a small culmination of images from 2020, and I plan to continue this project in the winters to come. I aim to show support to the women who are already out there doing these activities and empower other women to get outside as well.
